October 22-25th, X Inernational Folk Festival in Prague

Last weekend of October. Children group has represented “Szamotuły” during the X Inernational Folk Festival „Pohádkové město”  in Prague. There were groups from Greece, Czech Republic and Poland. We have shown the folklore from Szamotuły region and from West Wielkopolska region.

Each journey is a great opportunity to learn a few things. During the walk through both sides of Vltava river, children have seen the most important places and monuments of Prague, like Prague Castle, St. Wit’s Cathedral, palaces and their gardens. They have also witnessed the royal guard change.
